This wonderful Baroque palace dating from the 18th century, is built of cut-stone on 3 floors.The façade has a round arch framed by pilasters. The carved eaves are from the period. On the top there is a beautiful dome. The Palace belonged to Don Antonio Valdés y Fernandez-Bazán, who was Minister of the Navy under King Carlos III and Captain General of the Spanish Armada and whose statue stands opposite the Palace, next to the church. He has the honor of being the creator of the current Spanish flag.The Palace covers a ground area of 529 m2 giving a total habitable area of 1,599 m2
